Yes it worked as intended for a little while. No it doesn't fool everybody, because it was stolen within 6 Mo's.
I got 2 of these. Installing (i mean screwing this up ;-) was a breeze. Very original and with the sticker that comes in the box.it can wave of a petty thief of two.The only flip side is the price of it. I would have loved it for around $15 per camera.but I guess the quality speaks for itself.
This fake would pass a close inspection as the real thing. Have had no unwanted visitors after installing this.
This "camera" looks extremely realistic. The camera swivels, and you can point it pretty much wherever you want. The exterior is brushed aluminum and it is fairly heavy. The mounting screws (included) are good sized and enough to hold it in place. All in all, it looks exactly like a "real" camera and as a cost effective deterrent, it is worth every penny. I plan on ordering at least 2 more.
And the fake winky-blinky LED light doesn't work. Camera came within a few days. And the fake door for the fake batteries is a pain in the neck. Seemed rugged enough at first. Then the little fake cable popped out of the fake base. Having to hold onto two tiny screws while perched on a ladder 25' in the air while changing batteries is not fun.but that's ok because the fake LED doesn't work anyway so I'll never have to change batteries. And the fake camera moves too easily in the fake mounting bracket.Too bad they don't take fake money for it.Oh well, perhaps criminals will be stupid enough to fall for it.
